It is now a developing and promising province in the Philippines in the tourism industry. The province is now gearing as one of the top eco-tourism destinations in the country.
The province of Aurora lures tourists through its beautiful beaches, such as the White Beach located in Paltic, municipality of Dingalan. The beach is a two kilometer long beach which has numerous shells and corals scattered along the entire length. It also has a variety of undersea flora and fauna for divers to observe.
Aside from the beaches, they also have several falls which are truly sights to behold. One worth mentioning is the Cunayan Falls situated in Barangay Pimentel, Municipality of San Luis. These islets are two small imposing small islands forming like bullets from the sea with shrubs, small trees and other greenery growing on top surfaces. From this vantage point, towering waves can be seen relentlessly pounding the base of the islets.
There is an interesting story about that hill, where it saved the lives of seven families, including the Angaras, during the powerful tsunami that washed over the whole town of Baler in the year 1735.
The province is generally a mountainous area as the eastern portion of the Sierra Madre Mountain Range covers a large part the province of Aurora. The ecological system of the mountain range features the flora and fauna, waterfalls, rivers and crystal clear streams of varying sizes.
